Cost and time commitments can make an African safa

Cost and time commitments can make an African safari seem out of reach for some.

But we don’t want finances to exclude anyone from experiencing the magic of the savannah.

We want this once-in-a-lifetime adventure in nature to be accessible, allowing more people to connect with Kenya’s captivating rhythms and generous communities.

At the end of May, Ukulele Safari participated in the Monopolele Festival to promote our new itinerary!

Not only was the festival extremely well-organized, but I had the opportunity to meet incredibly talented Ukulele Players.

Finally, I connected with old online friends such as Peter Moss, Vincenzo, Alessandro Pedroni, and new ones like George Elmes. Jamming once more with the pioneer of the Ukulele Safari was exceptional. Angie and Justine with her family joined as well :-) . I will definitely be attending next year.

This song is all wrong.
Lions in fact, like the majority of cats, sleep during the day.
Also I m not sure there are lions in the jungle as they live in the savannah. 😅

During our safari, we encountered many lions, some sleepy, some very much awake.

Admiring lions in their natural habitat is one of the most interesting things I have ever experienced. And their call is so deep and magical that it literally shakes your soul!

Have you ever been close to a lion roaring? 🦁

After a delicious picnic breakfast we played a song 🎵 with this spectacular view of endless savannah, we decided to stop when a buffalo 🐃 in love with our music appeared in the background 🤣

Armed with a slingshot and seedballs our daily adventure in Lumo Conservancy brought us to open plains where we could launch our seedballs.

Seeds are coated in a nutrient rich clay shell that protects them until conditions are right for germination.

No words can describe how proud I felt.

We had given some ukuleles with the first Ukulele Safari and brought some more this year, together with School supplies and soccer balls.

We are deeply grateful to all the generous donors

We are deeply grateful to all the generous donors who contributed to our campaign, allowing us to purchase ukuleles for children in Kenya.

Our first stop was the Assured Knowledge Academy, where we had the privilege of donating 20 ukuleles – 10 for the students there and 10 more for the Brilliance School Academy, where Mr. January also teaches.

The children's joyful performance of a song touched our hearts, and we were delighted to conduct a small workshop, teaching them the amazing composition crafted specially for them by Boris. It was a truly heartwarming experience.
