Ukulele Safari 2022 follow up last year, James Hil Ukulele Safari 2022 follow up last year, James Hill, Boris, John Atkins, Plazi and Sammy Turton, performed an online concert to raise funds to buy ukuleles for the children in Kenya. Thanks to the generosity of many of you, and the help of @theukulelekidsclub and @sunworldsafaris we purchased and donated 70 ukuleles! Kala brand donated booklets tuners and bags, as well as ukuleles Sunworld Safari gave us 2 vehicles and 2 guides to deliver the instruments The Ukulele Safari participants helped in the first workshop. We are regularly in touch with the school and @harmonykenyafoundation that facilitated and helped the organization of the event, and today my heart melted seeing their commitment and progress. Well done guys and thank you all for make this happening. Let s change the world together...one ukulele at a time! See you on the next safari!!! #ukulelesafari

Many of you remember the online concert we did to Many of you remember the online concert we did to raise funds to bring ukuleles to kenyan children. We follow up every donation we made and we are glad to see that they are really trying. Thanks to @uketropolis @plazi @uketeacher @4stringboy @boris.ukulele and with the support of @marlenrwolfe and @theukulelekidsclub, we raised enough money to purchase 70 ukuleles from a kenyan supplier. Not only we made children happy, but also the kenyan lady, called Veronica, that went out of her way to help me finding cheap but good ukes. Now it s time to continue our mission and bring teachers to teach teacher… How will we so that? It s truly amazing to observe their playful nature and see how they interact with each other. A cat is a cat no matter how big.
