Sammy Turton, also known as 4stringboy on social media, is a talented musician and ukulele teacher who is set to join us for another exciting ukulele safari in March 2024.
With his impressive skills on the four-stringed instrument, the king of Harmonics and pringles, Sammy has become a popular figure in the world of ukulele music, captivating audiences with his unique style and humour.
I came across Sammy on Instagram, where he was gaining popularity for his “fingerstyle Fursday” exercises. As I got more and more interested in his approach, I virtually met him and was impressed by his teaching style, dedication, and generosity. It became clear to me that he would make a valuable addition to our team. 🙂
Sammy is a teacher. composer and ukulele player from the UK. Known for his moddy compositions and bit by bit teaching, Sammy loves nothing more than writing beautiful pieces of music for the ukulele and then teaching others how to do exactly that.
After completing his Ba Hons in Music Performance and PGCE in the education of Arts, Sammy was a university lecturer in Music Performance and Theory. His next step was moving across the lands to Copenhagen where he now teaches students worldwide.
We are thrilled to have Sammy Turton join us for another ukulele safari, and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us. Whether you’re a seasoned ukulele player or a newcomer to the instrument, Sammy’s music is sure to inspire and entertain.
