We travel around Kenya, following a new itinerary on every safari. National parks, private reserves and encounters with local people bring us close to the country’s wildlife and culture. Music connects it all.

We explore national parks and private reserves, making time for the animals, the landscapes and the unexpected moments along the way.

We play with local musicians, listen to their songs and share our own. A rhythm, a chorus, a ukulele passed from one pair of hands to another: simple ways to connect.
These encounters are part of discovering Kenya’s culture, with time to listen, join in and enjoy being together.

Back to school.
Back to playing.
We return to schools where students received ukuleles during earlier safaris. We spend time with them, bring out the instruments and play together again.
Each visit continues a connection that began on a previous journey, through the Kenya Ukulele Project.
